17 Should have a question mark as the hyphen needs removing before the clue works correctly.

22 I am also puzzled. Perhaps vice versa may refer to the fact that the V sign has one's palm pointing outwards; have the palm pointing inwards and it becomes an 'up yours' gesture.

There is a pretty direct relationship between doctor and GP which is not apparent between period and Feb. Month and Feb, yes.

4 I thought 'set' in theatrical terms referred to the scenery and props, not the clothing the actors wear.
